Personal Interests:

Most of my time is spent with my family, my husband Zach and my son, James, who was born in December 2009.  We have a special dog, Jack, who also requires extra TLC.  We all love to go hiking, and my husband and I enjoy traveling and scuba diving.

Undergrad:  Ohio Wesleyan University, Vet School:  Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, Small Animal Internship: North Carolina State University

I discovered my nurturing side as a child when I helped my mother to raise orphaned wildlife.  I was always excited to feed them a bottle, but the biggest reward was setting them free again and watching them thrive on their own.  I knew from a very early age I would become a veterinarian.
