Dr. Elissa Thorndike
"My dad is a veterinarian. I still remember the day when he said he needed MY help. I was about six year old. His practice was just around the corner. Before I knew it he handed me a little bundle of lifeless flesh. It was a tiny newborn pup still in its birth sac. My hands trembled. He quickly showed me exactly what to do and before I knew it, a tiny puppy began to squirm and cry in my hands. I thought he was a magician…. and then I knew that I wanted to be a magician, too."

"My most interesting case was a pet that had eaten some Gorilla Glue. That stuff is really dangerous. It apparently tastes very sweet, but the glue forms a “cast” of sorts in the pet’s stomach. Very nasty!"
