"Growing up, we always had a dog, but one particular made a special impact. Toby was our second golden retriever and the best family dog we could ask for. At 6 years old, she was diagnosed with lymphoma. Luckily, we had pet insurance, which made it easier to afford chemotherapy and keep the cancer in remission for quite a while. Seeing how her veterinarian helped to improve her quality of life reinforced my desire to do the same for other families."
