Not Your Typical Veterinary Centre
Each month we see more than 8,000 dogs and cats here at Pender Veterinary Centre. Services range from routine wellness examinations to surgical procedures. We excel in fast and accurate diagnoses of your pets’ needs. Our ultrasound allows us immediate insight into what is going on inside your pet, and our on-site lab allows us to use the same technology as human medicine to run and validate blood tests in hours- not days. So from intensive care needs and specialized isolation wards, to simple dental cleanings, nail trims, and vaccinations, we’re here to make your dog, cat, or exotic pet as happy and healthy as we can.

Pender Pals: Supporting Pet Adoption in Fairfax County
Pender Veterinary Centre supports adopting and we encourage everyone to visit your local animal shelter when considering adding a new pet to your family. The Fairfax County Animal Shelter is the county’s only open-access, municipal shelter. The shelter provides a safe-haven for 4,000 – 5,000 dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals that come through its doors each year.
As a partner and supporter of Fairfax County Animal Shelter, Pender Veterinary Centre wants to further pet adoption in Fairfax County. One way we can help is by offering a lifetime discount to all Pender companies for all pets adopted from Fairfax County Animal Shelter.
