Small Animal General Practice, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture
My husband and I are excited to be new residents of Virginia. We recently welcomed a baby human to our family, who is fitting right in with his furry siblings – two kitties and a very happy Golden Retriever. We enjoy family time outside, as well as snuggling on the couch to watch Auburn football! War Eagle!
DVM, Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, 2016. Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, University of Tennessee, 2018. Certified Veterinary Acupuncture, Chi University, 2020.
During veterinary school, I realized my passion for client-patient relationships and communication. I dedicated myself to small animal general practice upon graduation. However, the joys of mentorship and sharing knowledge led me to become a clinician at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for nearly four years. During that time, my love for geriatric patients and those with chronic conditions led to my completion of certifications in physical therapy (rehab) and acupuncture. I am also a certified Feline Friendly and Fear Free Veterinarian. As a newer member of the Pender team, I am looking forward to developing new relationships with clients and pets in general practice!
