PERSONAL INTERESTS
My husband and I are relatively new residents of NOVA. We've welcomed two baby humans since moving from Alabama in 2021. So far, they're getting along great with their fur siblings - two kitties and Golden Retriever. We enjoy family time outside, as well as snuggling on the couch to watch Auburn football! War Eagle!
EDUCATION
DVM, Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, 2016. Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), University of Tennessee, 2018. Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA), Chi University, 2020.
HOW I GOT HERE
During veterinary school, I realized my passion for strong client-patient relationships and general medicine. I dedicated myself to small animal general practice upon graduation. However, the joys of mentorship and sharing knowledge led me to become a clinician at Auburn's CVM for nearly four years. During that time, my love for geriatric patients and those with chronic painful conditions led to my certifications in physical therapy and acupuncture. I am a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and a certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian. I am also a certified Fear Free Veterinarian.
