Veterinary forensics, shelter medicine, internal medicine, client communication/education.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying new restaurants, live music, reading fiction novels, horror movies (especially psychological thrillers), Philadelphia sports, and the beach.
DVM from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Minor in Neuroscience/Psycology from University of Maryland Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Veterinary Forensic Sciences from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine
After graduating from veterinary school, I completed a year long rotating internship at the ASPCA Animal Hospital in New York City. I worked in different departments including emergency, surgery, internal medicine, adoptions, and forensics. My position at Pender allows me to split time between both of my passions – working with clients and their beloved pets, as well as working in the shelter environment. I will be spending part of my time seeing appointments at Pender, and part of my time providing veterinary services for the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.
