My primary focus at Pender is in emergency and critical care medicine of dogs and cats; however, I have been trained to treat emergencies in exotic species, as well.
I come home to a 5-year-old cat named “Bo.” In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching basketball, singing karaoke, listening to public radio, and watching “I Love Lucy” and “Seinfeld.”
DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medcicine
I did not grow up with a dog or cat in the household, so I vowed from a young age to pursue a career in which I would be surrounded by animals and the people who love them. I received my B.S. in Animal Sciences with a Minor in Psychology from Rutgers University and went on to earn my D.V.M. degree at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
