I enjoy playing with my cats Samdol and Hiro. I love taking walks with my daughter and I also enjoy playing soccer.

HOW I GOT HERE

When I was young, my father saved stray cats and brought them home. It was so natural for me to grow my passion for veterinary medicine. Starting off, I attended and graduated vet school in South Korea. When my family moved to the United States, I worked at a local vet clinic in Georgia as a veterinary assistant and then a technician. This helped me learn the culture of American Veterinary Medicine while I also had time to prepare to be a well-versed Veterinarian. I finished my training program at the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada. I obtained my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree through ECFVG program in 2012 and have been practicing in Virginia since 2013. I am so excited to be able to serve Pender clients, in both English and fluent Korean.
