PERSONAL INTERESTS

I was born in Toronto, Canada, and I am very excited to explore and experience the Northern Virginia area while starting my career here at Pender. In my free time, I love to travel, try all kinds of food, watch horror movies, knit/crochet, and occasionally play the piano. I also love to spend time with my friends and family.

EDUCATION

I pursued my undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph in the Bachelor of Science Animal Biology program. I graduated with a DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College.

HOW I GOT HERE

My family always had dogs growing up, and I had always been one of those children that was exceptionally fascinated by wildlife and nature. However, for most of my journey, I was not always too sure of the path that I wanted to pursue. After realizing my strengths and going ahead with a high school co-op at a small animal clinic, I was inspired. Over the years, the experience and the teachings I obtained from so many supportive people only reinforced my passion. I have never looked back since, and cannot imagine where else I would rather be than in this field. I am so excited to be given the opportunity to thrive at Pender, and to provide care to all pets within the Pender family.
